Does your institution have appropriate approvals and accreditation to offer programs in higher education including a strength and conditioning program? (For instance, regional/national accreditation or international equivalents.)

Does your program have a Program Director?

Have full faculty status, rights, responsibilities, privileges, and voting rights consistent wil other similar positions at the institution?

Have a master’s degree or higher in a related field?

Have current CSCS Certification?

Oversee and evaluate program-specific course content and curricular efficacy?

Does the Program Director have the following responsibilities: (a) compliance with CASCE standards, (b) curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment, (c) leadership in field experience, planning, resources, and budget, and (d) compliance with state, institutional, and program policies?

Does teaching faculty of the strength and conditioning educational program (those responsible for teaching required subject matter in Section III of the CASCE standards and other didactic courses) have formal academic appointments?

Do members of your strength and conditioning faculty, responsible for teaching didactic courses and hands-on subject matter, have a current CSCS certification?

Does your program have a full-time Field Experience Coordinator, responsible for placement, evaluation, training, and communication with your Field Experience Site Supervisor(s)?

Does your program have CSCS-certified Field Experience Site Supervisor(s), responsible for supervising student interns during day-to-day activities and providing instruction, assessment, and feedback?

Is your program a minimum of a *concentration* or equivalent (e.g. emphasis, track, minor, or certificate) with a *strength and conditioning* title?

Does your program contain the curricular content outlined in Section III.C. 1-10 of the Professional Standards and Guidelines?

Are students required to attend field experiences that apply areas of instruction included in the curriculum?

Does your field experience contain the following components of required CASCE field experience standards found in Standard III.D.4.a-e?

Is there a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), or other comparable document signed by both the field experience site (by someone with signing authority) and the institution that recognizes the student’s presence at the site and provides permission for the student to actively participate in the field experience found in Standard III.D.5.

Does your program conduct formal, ongoing assessments that determine how well your program meets its stated outcomes (e.g. student outcomes, program outcomes, field experiences, etc.) found in Standard IV.A?

Does your program provide advising, academic support, disability, and financial aid services to its students?

Do your program’s policies, procedures, and practices related to student recruitment, admission, and field experience placement ensure *nondiscrimination and equal opportunity*?
